Orange cake recipes are usually pretty easy to make and this one is no different. In order for the dough to have a lot of fruit flavor, its preparation takes juice and orange zest.
INGREDIENTS
120 g of gluten-free flour mix
100 g of oat bran
150 g demerara sugar
70 ml of orange juice
Orange zest to taste
180 ml of water
100 ml of olive oil
2 sprigs of rosemary, stem removed
12 g chemical yeast
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 pinch of salt
sugar to taste
Rosemary sprigs to finish
METHOD OF PREPARATION
In a bowl, mix the flour with the oat bran and set aside.
Blend the sugar, juice and orange zest, water, olive oil and rosemary in a blender.
Add this mixture to the bowl with the flours and stir until smooth.
Add the yeast, apple cider vinegar, salt, mix lightly just to incorporate.
Pour the dough into a greased mold and bake in a preheated oven at 160ºC for 30 minutes.
When cool, unmold the cake and sprinkle with sugar.
Finally, decorate with sprigs of rosemary and you're done.
