Basic and easy tips to keep your hair healthy and beautiful

There are some precautions that, taken as a habit, will make any woman's hair healthier and much prettier, regardless of the type of hair she has. Therefore, we have selected 10 recommendations so that you can also protect your hair as it deserves, check it out:

1. Take care of your hair when washing it

In order for your hair to be beautiful and well-groomed, it is important to only use products for this type of hair. There are specific lines of shampoos and conditioners for curly, straight, oily, dry, dyed, chemically treated hair, among others.

Do not wash your hair with very hot water and avoid washing your hair every day. Continuously wash off all shampoo and conditioner once you are done washing and moisturizing. She always prefers ice cold water, as it helps close the cuticles and avoids that dreadful flaky, frizzy look.

2. Dry your hair without damaging it

Before blow-drying your hair, use a thermoactive product to defend the strands from heat damage from the dryer and flat iron. Avoid drying the hair too far from the root, always leave it 15 cm from the head. Only use the iron if it is very strong and try not to leave it in the hair for too long.

3. Get your hair cut regularly

To keep your hair consistently vibrant and healthy and to avoid the dreaded split ends, get a haircut at least every 3 months. Choose a cut that enhances your face, after all, your hair is your “frame” and deserves all the care.

4. Moisturize your hair

It is necessary to moisturize every 15 days to affirm the health and shine of the hair. Hydration can be done at home or in the salon, with the right products for your hair type. If you prefer, you can make a homemade mask to moisturize your hair.

Wash your hair well with anti-residue shampoo and remove all the product. After washing, apply the mask only to all hair, massage and wait 15 minutes. Completely remove the product from the hair and it is ready to be dried or styled as desired.

5. Protect cables from the sun

The hair suffers a lot when exposed to the sun, it gets quite dry. Therefore, it is essential to constantly protect them with a hat when going to the beach and in any situation where your head is exposed to the sun for a long time. Furthermore, once the scalp is exposed to the action of the sun, dandruff appears, leaving the hair looking dirty and greasy. To make them even more protected from ultraviolet rays, use a hair sunscreen.

6. Carefully comb

Be very careful and patient when brushing or combing your hair. If they get tangled up easily, lightly hose them down when you go out and when you sleep. To detangle, use a wide bristle comb and never a brush. Comb gently so as not to break the strands, but to untangle them little by little.

7. Avoid frizz

So that your hair is always neat, like the hair in a commercial shampoo, we suggest that you use a flat iron after drying. As it is, the frizzy strands are lowered and the hair looks better.

8. Eat well

Food directly influences the beauty not only of the hair, but also of the dermis and nails. The best foods for healthy hair are those rich in iron, copper, zinc, minerals, vitamin B12, biotin, protein and iodine. What should be avoided includes canned, refined and artificial foods.

9. Drink fluids

Water is the delegate to hydrate the dermis and hair, so it is important to continuously drink water and lush juices. Thus, your hair receives the natural hydration that comes from your body and helps to make your hair even more manageable and shiny.

10. Avoid wetting your hair in pool water

Pool water usually has large amounts of chlorine and other substances that dry out and weaken your hair, so if you go to the pool and it gets wet, wash it quickly and moisturize it so you don't damage your hair with chlorine. Do not leave chlorinated water on your hair for hours at a time.
